CANARIES RISE FROM THE DEAD ON HALLOWEEN

Boadu's double has Watford two up and Carrow Road booing, then Chrisene, Musaba and Maghoma strike in 18 second-half minutes

At half-time the Carrow Road crowd of 25,811 booed their side off, two down to Watford and looking at a fourth home defeat in a row. By the 71st minute they were singing Samba de Janeiro for the third time in 18 minutes.

Norwich had started well enough. Inside three minutes Mathias Kvistgaarden's backheel from Jacob Wright's low cross took a deflection, and Federico Ravaglia got down sharply to keep it out. Sam Field, captain for the afternoon, then stabbed one just wide from the edge of the box.

The marks

Three points take Norwich to 15, and the BBC reckons they are now closer to the play-off places than to the bottom three. Watford stay on 11 after a sixth defeat in seven league games, and they haven't won away since 27 February.
