Editorial and Corrections Policy

Facts first

Everything printed in the Pink comes from a real, named source: the official match data feed for results, scorers and tables, and published reporting, club statements and broadcast interviews for reports and quotes. We do not invent facts, quotes or rumours.

Attribution

Each report lists the sources it drew on. Quotes are printed as published and credited to where they were said. Transfer rumours in The Rumour Mill are reported as rumours, each credited to the outlet that published it; the Pink has not confirmed them.

Opinion

Verdicts, player ratings and "The Pink's call" are the paper's opinion and are labelled as such.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we put it right on the page as quickly as we can and say so. To report an error, use the contact page, giving the edition date and the page.

Readers' letters

Every letter is read before it is printed. We only print letters from readers who have agreed to publication, and we may shorten them.
