Getafe v Brighton

Hürzeler's third-placed Seagulls take Conference form to Madrid
Brighton sit ninth in the Conference League on four points after beating Kauno Žalgiris and drawing with Jablonec — Getafe have one point from two and a reduced Coliseum.
We expect a tough opponent because I think when you play here in Getafe… it's a team that knows how to win. It's a team that plays quite vertical, long balls, second balls, good in personal duels, and can be very intense in personal duels.Fabian Hürzeler on Getafe Brighton & Hove Albion
Fabian Hürzeler's Brighton fly into Spain third in the Premier League after a 1-0 win over Manchester City and with four Conference League points from two games: 4-0 over Kauno Žalgiris and a 0-0 with Jablonec. Getafe, seventh in La Liga last season, drew 1-1 with Universitatea Craiova then lost 5-2 at home to Lugano and sit 30th on one point.
Three key absentees stayed in England. "We left no one at home for a rest, but a few players had to stay home because they're not available for tomorrow," Hürzeler said. "So Ferdy won't be available, Struijk won't be available, and also Femi is still not available. They're getting closer, especially Femi. Regarding Ferdy, we still have a big hope that he might be ready for Sunday. And with Pascal Struijk, we have to go day by day."
Getafe beat Sevilla 3-1 on Sunday after trailing at half-time, with goals from Enes Ünal, Martín Satriano and Orel Mangala. All of their La Liga wins this season have come at the Coliseum, where building work has cut capacity to about 10,000. Christantus Uche, Juanmi and Zaid Romero miss the European tie; Dani Carvajal, signed from Real Madrid, was not registered for the Conference League.
Hürzeler expects a physical night. "We expect a tough opponent because I think when you play here in Getafe… it's a team that knows how to win. It's a team that plays quite vertical, long balls, second balls, good in personal duels, and can be very intense in personal duels. Therefore, we expect a team that has a clear style of play combined with individual quality."
Slovak referee Filip Glova takes charge. Brighton will hope their Premier League momentum carries into Europe's third tier on a ground that has already seen Getafe lose heavily once in this competition.
